Fiber is purchased
through independent contractors. An analysis of local wood
sources confirms a minimum of 20 years of suitable wood
fiber. The recycling facility, which started up in 1993,
buys its old newspapers (ONP) and old magazines (OMG)
through contracts with major waste haulers, municipalities
operating curb-side collection programs, and waste in the
open market.
